RAYMOND – Miss ² Charity Lockridge recently competed in the Miss Mississippi competition in Vicksburg and was named a Top 10 semifinalist.
Lockridge, of Vicksburg, a student in the college’s Dental Assistant program, sang “Via Dolorosa” for the talent phase of competition and presented her social impact initiative of promoting good oral health through a program she calls “Project Smile.”
“I could not be more proud of our Miss ²,” said Angela Hite, director of the pageant held each year at ². “Charity did an excellent job of representing ². To make the Top 10 at Miss Mississippi is an outstanding accomplishment, and she truly deserved that honor.”
She won Miss ² in 2019 but was unable to compete in Miss Mississippi, which was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was also a past Miss ² pageant winner, in 2017.
