Vicksburg Campus PTK inducts new members

VICKSBURG – The Alpha Omega Chi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at вÊÍø’s Vicksburg-Warren Campus inducted new fall chapter members on Sept. 27.

New inductees are, front from left, Lindsay Adams, Khaedyn Benson, Amariah Hill, Ashley Houston, Omarion Jones; back, Ava Melton, Mickell Jones, Jack McBride, Waniya Smith, Summer Mocknick, all of Vicksburg.

Officers for 2024-2025 include, from left, Rae Bantugan, Vice President of Membership Services; Tatum Watts, Vice President of Honors and Action; Dion Adkins, Vice President of Communications; Kennedy Mullins, Vice President of College Projects and Alysha Morrell, President. All are Vicksburg residents.

Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for community and junior college students. Membership in Phi Theta Kappa is extended to students who have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or above on 12 or more transferable credit hours. There are more than 1,285 Phi Theta Kappa chapters throughout the United States and abroad.
